FOURTH QUARTER UPDATE FISCAL YEAR 2016-17
The parish fiscal year 2016-17 concluded on August 31st. The preliminary numbers for the fiscal year show that collection revenues decreased from the previous fiscal year by a total of $11,965. The reason for the decline is that Christmas and the Feast of Mary the Mother of God (Jan. 1st) fell on Sunday. As a result, the collections combined for a total of almost $12,000 less than the previous fiscal year. The good news is that, if not for the overlapping of the Christmas, Holy days, and Sunday collections, our collection revenues appear to have remained steady.
I want to thank all of you for your generosity. It is because of you that we, as a parish, are able to fulfill the mission of the local church.
